The first Water Rhizome workshop was born as a project in response to the imminent
water crisis in modern times. It seeks to explore the potential of water and thus develop catalog of solutions from the cellular scale, the house.
This collective research and design workshop revolves around Water, the House, and the Neighborhood. It explores the design of water landscapes in personal projects or those close to the participants. The rhizome is seen as that which embodies small sprouts from the lake that once existed.
Water Rhizome seeks solutions through re-signification.
By reincorporating water into a central, visible, and sacred place within the habitable space, and at the same time integrating a storage solution to address scarcity.
