Cities are fictions.

More than a collection of natural and built elements, 
they are places sustained by the immaterial substance  of 
people's experiences and their  personal meanings.
.
The landscape is as elusive as it is infinite. 
Its magnitude is defined by what our eyes can perceive, 
and yet, it is never static: it changes every instant.

Is it part of time, or is time part of the landscape?

The landscape is, then, a moment, a fleeting event that only 
exists in the time of the one who contemplates it.
