and built elements, they are places 
sustained by the immaterial substance 
of people's experiences and their 
personal meanings.

The landscape is as elusive as it is infinite. 

Its magnitude is defined by what our eyes can perceive, and yet, it is never static: it changes every instant.

Is it part of time, or is time part of the landscape?

The landscape is, then, a moment, a fleeting event that only exists in the time of the one who contemplates it.
